About Us

We are Cygnum Capital

A global investment banking and asset management firm with a deep and proven understanding of frontier and emerging economies across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Originally established in 2008 as Lion’s Head Global Partners, Cygnum Capital has grown from a small advisory business, into a global operation, becoming one of Africa’s largest fund managers, and broadening our Investment Banking footprint internationally, advising clients on “first-of-their-kind” transactions across key sectors including critical minerals, renewable energy, financial services, infrastructure, power, healthcare and real estate.

Today, we work across the world, with over 80 finance professionals in five offices across four continents. We have two major hubs in London and Nairobi, and other offices in Lagos, Dubai and Amsterdam, bringing our clients local expertise with a global outlook. We take a cross-functional approach, bringing the right combination of geographic and sectoral expertise, plus product, and industry knowledge, to our clients.

Our client base is global and includes governments, multilateral institutions, corporations and financial institutions, as well as major development agencies and foundations.
