The Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI) is addressing one of the biggest impediments to businesses operating in Africa, which is access to finance and access to affordable and reliable power. FEI provides the flexible early stage capital to companies, like CrossBoundary and NuRAN Wireless, that provide the critical power infrastructure that African economies, businesses and communities need to grow. To date, FEI has committed close to US$400 million and catalysed over US$1 billion of investment into the energy sector.
